Also, smoking makes it more difficult for your gums to recover once they have been damaged. By quitting smoking, you can also prevent other health problems from happening.
Brush at Least Twice a Day
Always make sure that you brush your teeth after every meal. This will help in removing food and plaque that are trapped in your teeth and gums. Also, don’t forget to scrub your tongue since this can also harbor bacteria. Your toothbrush should have soft bristles and can fit perfectly in your mouth. A simple mouthwash rinse will remove food particles and other debris in your mouth, though this is not a direct substitute for brushing and flossing. By combining brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash, you can have healthier teeth and gums.
